it is hard to tell, but it appears to be a combination of envelope filters, attack control, and octave (just based on the name) - kind of along the lines of the ehx microsynth. its true, i dont see a distortion component

I'm not sure what to make of it.. is it just BMS/MS-style filter section with an envelope section? If this is the case and it uses the prometheus filter circuit and envelope, then I'd be pretty pumped.. and an exp input would really seal the deal-- C'mon Subdecay!! More exp/cv inputs in your pedals! The Octasynth name is misleading though(or is it? is there a non-adjustable 'synth' tone going on under the filter, and is the 'mix' signal pre or post-filter section?), as I don't see any octave or distortion controls, as rccollins noted. I wonder if the fembot possibly has octave capabilities? I'd love to see an octaver from subdecay.. and am very curious to hear more about the Octasynth whatever it is!?
