Check Out This Ibanez BTB!

This is killer for $884! That is a real temptation for a tax refund purchase.:D

I have played the 5 string version, it really sounds very nice for the price, i cant get over how good the quality is on these things, it sounds like a $2500 bass, the sound is clean and does not distort, it has a very modern mild growl to it, it is just evenly smooth, the only slight negative was the neck felt a little to wide near the nut, but i could over look it, it just wow's me every time i play one.

That really sounds good because I am definitely more of a five string guy.

I've spent some time with this 6 string BTB in my local music shop before. I wasn't a fan of the orange tinge the woods had and I found a few flaws in the woodwork and finishing of the one I was playing.

Otherwise a very good feeling and sounds bass for me, but here I'm not going to pay $1800'sih for one. I'd buy a Berg NV215 for that money and get some change from my $1800.

I don't think the color is horrible. The top looks alot like the Z series MTD Kingston.

To me, the color is a little bit too much saturated, but that's just my opinion based on the pics, haven't seen it in person yet.

Just a quick question: Is this model a Prestige BTB? The 2009 SR Prestige is made in Japan, so is it the same for this one too?

Never mind, I zoomed in on the back of the headstock, I think it says "Made in Indonesia", so it is not even Korean made? Then why does the serial number has a PB at the end, I thought this meant it was a Prestige? I'm confused:confused:
