Checking the logic on my bass amp rig

So I have a Ampeg 2x12 cabinet (600w at 4ohm) and a Swr 2x10 cabinet (350w at 4ohm) and I plan on buying an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 (500w at 4ohm/250w at 4ohm).
My thinking is that i can run each of the cabs separate with the cab (i realise i need to be careful with the swr cab given the wattage, but it would be for small gigs anyway) or i can run both them at the same time, is that correct and safe?

Get yourself a series box to connect the cabs in series and they will make 8 ohms, and each get 125 watts... On the other hand, you would probably be better off with the full 500 watts into the 212.

What they said.

Not what I was expecting to find when I clicked. I was actually expecting a DIYer with a bunch of gates trying to troubleshoot a circuit. Which brings me to a question for the more experienced members... Are there any amps that use logic? I'd imagine your modeling amps to have plenty of that happening in there but what about others that are just straightforward heads?
