It's a very good sounding amp, IMO! after a two nighter weekend, in two medium sized rooms through an 8x10. The soundman decided that the bass did NOT need to be put through the PA, because the Carvin through the 8x10 was it's own PA. Plenty of power, nice EQ, full spectrum bass.

I was hoping you'd have it by now, Chef...

I work at the NBC station here.
The UPS guys comes at 10;25 am, everyday.
Tracking shows "out for delivery."
UPS guy was already here for today...

Found it and came back.
The box was completely deeestroyed.
Fearing the worst I opened it up and plugged it in, aaaaand...

Everything flat, drive off, master at 4, this has enough juice to blow the 12 right out of my Schroeder 1210. Not that I did, but it could.
Sonically, seems ok, but I don't have time to mess with dialing it in right now.

More later.

Cool! I hope it came through without any sort of damage! That description of the volume more closely matches my experience. That other unit you had must have been more screwed up than we realized!

So far so good.
It'll get a four set grind tonight at the Missouri Blues Association monthly blues jam with yours truely hosting...
There's typically 4-5 other bassists there, who are all very familiar with my other junk: TFB WT800B, etc.
I'll bring back a variety of feedback.

I always bring backup the first 2 or 3 times on any thing newly purchased.

Ya know, I never have, but usually I have a few rehearsals.
There's only two times I've ever eaten it.
One was my TFB, Dave fixed it and next day'd it back.
And this one...

My two big concerns tonight are:
1) Can I get great tone out of it...not too worried, I have an hour or so between work and soundcheck.
2) Will some moron sit in, CRANK the volume, and launch the speakers outta whatever box I take tonight. I'll be doing some babysitting;)

I think the blues cats are going to want to use the Henry 8x8 for the lows.

Oh dude, take all three, 2x8 + 1260 + 1210 and run her at 2 or 2.67 ohms.

What an excellent way of testing a new unit, letting 6 different players use it with you monitoring the tone from the audience.

Everything I own is 4 ohms, I couldn't run 3 cabs.
The Henry has wicked solid lows fer-sure...but the Schro 410 does too. It has more mid punch set flat, but it'll take whatever you eq into it.
