Chef's Carvin B1500...

Chef,

I fyou have or get your hands on a Fishman Dual Parametric DI - that might just be the ticket for doubling the B1500 with your Upright.

Or any small box fully parametric EQ for that matter

But then again - that's if you want to drag a 34lb amp with a huge cabinet along with an already unwieldy instrument.

However - it might just be the ticket for when you play those massive outdoor jazz festivals ;) :D

I think I need to say "just the ticket" again

...ahhh redundancy

From the eden website:
"Our WP100 preamp features a tube input stage, dbx type compression with variable threshold and rate controls, tube character control, enhance control, the famous Eden semi-parametric eq,"

Well the Eden's semi para eq, such as it is, lets me pick problem frequencies, and dial them out.
Or in.
As does the Mesa Walkabout, and TFB420.
And, as the Carvin B 1500 does not.

So, she's gone.

YMMV;
