So much fun today. I had a great time meeting everybody, talking and checking out so many cool instruments. Days like today are too few and far between for the Chicago bass players scene. I'm definitely feeling those 3 slices of Lou's! So good! Looking forward to the next one. Also, mark your calendars for June 25th. I'll be hosting a little get together at the music garage with Jake Serek of Serek basses. I'll post a thread when we get closer.

Had a great time and really enjoyed it except for the pizza it tasted too good. I am sure it will take several days for my blood sugar to get back to normal. What a great group glad I made it. Now I am wondering how many more basses I need to get before I will learn how to play by association? Saw and heard some sweet basses and amazed how you guys can make them sound also did not realize that there are some phenomenal Bass builders in the area what wealth of knowledge in your group. Looking forward to the next meet.

Here's my gallery.
Again, what a great time! I'm going to try and host a similar even in spring 2018. I'll start up a thread about it in Jan 2018.
My sincere thanks to everyone who came out.

The few pics I took that turned out well.

Let me add my thanks to Karl for doing a great job of organizing this shindig! I had a great tine. It was a lot of fun to catch up with old friends, and to meet new folks and put faces to names--oh, and to play so much great gear and hear excellent players in the process. It certainly didn't hurt to have a Lou Malnati's down the street. I'm already looking forward to next year!
