Hey there fellow Adelaidian!

The first pics were at the Semaphore Palais and last nights were at PJ Obriens on East tce in the CBD.

Look for Blackstar in the Thursday Gig guide - we are at the Ramsgate Hotel this saturday 23rd May. Should be another large night!!

ooo I just realised the dates... going to see a band at enigma on the 22nd which is this friday.... so much for my memory oops! ramsgate is round the corner from me literally! I reckon I can con a few ppl to take a look

Nice pics.

Do your cameras have an anti-red eye mode? Or maybe run through a photo program to fix it. I suggest downloading Google's Picasa photo program (that's super easy to use) and can take of red-eye in a few seconds.

I can do the Red eye thing - i was lazy! it was going on 4am when I up loaded them... The camera I take to gigs is pretty old and crap and doesn't take good shots without flash, so a flash going of on a darkened dance floor makes catching pupils wide open a regular thing.

The "subject", I presume, is your girlfriend. Perhaps the yeti's comment could be rewritten "your phone takes pretty good pics... maybe it's <because your girlfriend is so attractive>?

perhaps... or i could've said "subject matter", although i was also actually impressed by the quality of the photos compared to my phone.

I saw nothing confusing or ambiguous in Yeti's original post.

"Subject" is often used to indicate the person being photographed.

"Subject matter" doesn't apply when we're talking about a photograph; it more properly refers to a collection of information, usually printed material. But Yeti already knew this, which is why he avoided using "subject matter" originally.

Nope!

Just a grab shot of the crowd taken by our keyboard player, tho we do know alot of the folks out there. I did get my very sore right arm massauged after the show by the girl front and center.
