I'm not sure if anyone else knows about this recent phenomenon (quite like the most dramatic hamster) but Chocolate Rain has become a sensation amongst some for about the last 2 weeks.

The remixs began, there's plenty on the right side in youtube.

Personally, this is my favorite (and not on youtube). Nerdy and sweet.

Now, John Mayer did an impromptu Chocolate Rain remix on Best Week Ever.

I really like the DDR type version. That person spent some time on that remix for sure.

Also the John Mayer one is really sweet.

I don't know I just love this guys voice... he's like a young Barry White. He just seems like a cool quirky guy. 25, and a grad student, no formal voice or piano training. Just doing somethign he likes.

He's cool in my book.

I don't know I like the lyrics. They're somewhat deep, and there's definitely a message there. Hahah and I really do like his voice, no matter what anyone says.

Mine, too. His voice is amazing. He needs to figure out that a verse and a chorus should have a different melody. And that there is such thing as a bridge. He has a keen ear for melody and some amazing pipes. Look for his other song "Internet Dream".
