here is some of the set up. 16 channel mackie board, dbx 1066 compressor, qsc hpr 153i(s) and for smaller shows qsc hrp 122i (s) as tops and qsc hpr 181i subs. the drummer uses a gretch kit. we use an audix d6 with an earthlink mic pad. sounds killer. im torn between the audix d2 for the rack toms an an audix d4 for the floor tom. the other choice is the sennheiser 604 for the rack an floor toms. drummer boy has a light touch. which direction should i go in. sennheisers or the audix route. these are available to me so i would like to use one of them. comments, opinions, suggestions all welcome. we play all types of music.
