    Fender modern player jaguar bass

    Schecter stargazer 4

    Squier classic vibe jazz bass

    Squier vintage modified jazz bass

    Epiphone Eb03 bass

Now you must give a reason for your choosing BESIDES looks.

Schecter Stargazer 4 for the MM/J EMG's and active EQ (and because it looks so freaking cool).

It would have to be the Schecter, as I tried the stargazer in a store and it played wonderfully. Plus, I can't stand fender basses.

    What's your budget?

Do you prefer active or passive?

Those are the two big questions in my book.

From what I've read the CV and the VM series of basses are very similar in many if not most regards. So between those two, it basically comes down to color options.

That being said. If money wasn't an option i'd probably go with the Schecter. It seems to have more tonal possibilities than the comparably priced Jag, not to mention it looks friggin' killer.

If your on more of a budget or like to tinker or mod. I would probably find a used Squier (CV or VM.) The bang for your buck value is pretty high on those. So much so that I have both a VM P and a VM J.

Epiphone EB-3... because no one else on the entire board will pick that one.

I'd get the MP Jag. I like the P/J pup configuration.

    +1 for pj
jag would be my pick, the old series one's were great, so i'm guessing the modern players are strong too

Fender Jaguar. I like the P/J configuration. But I'm not sure the Fender is much better than the Squier VM Jag.

Looks over the list. Humm, nothing interesting on this one either. Maybe do one of these type posts myself someday with more interesting bass choices. Lol.

dont be so quick to judge, there is some mud lovers here...

Definitely the stargazer though, it will be more versatile as apposed to the EB3, which would be more of a focused "vintage" tone. unless your going for that, then the EB3 cant be beat...
