  1. Looked in search, found nothing i needed....

    So...getting started i know that a Major Chord consists of a Root a 3rd and a 5th, and a Minor consists of a Root, b3, and a 5th....

so given we do a C Major an Minor Chord, would it be this movable shape?

    ex:Major...Or C,E,G
    G-----12
    D-----14
    A-----15
    E-------

    ex:Minor...Or C,Eb,G
    G-----12
    D-----13
    A-----15
    E-------

Do I have this right, and is it a movable shape?

As long as you're tuned in fourths - it's moveable yes - you are correct. :)
