Chorus pedal broke?

So a few weeks ago I bought a lyon stereo chorus pedal from my friend and it worked fine, I didn't need it at the time and just wanted it for Sh*ts and giggles. But now when I actually need it for my band, it doesn't work! Whenever I plug it in it buzzes, and I cant seem to figure out why. I have a fully charged battery and the power converter plugged in, I tried putting the cables in every possible configuration, and it does this with both my gigging amp and my practice amp. Please help me!

1) Does it have an isolated power supply? (i.e. dedicated wall wart)
2) If daisy chained does your system support all the mA off you pedals with room to spare?
3) Try it by itself: battery only, power only.....

Yes the power supply is isolated, the chorus pedal was the only pedal I had hooked up, and it doesn't work without a battery even if the power supply is hooked up, but I tried that anyway and it didn't work.
