Hiya all...need some advice. I have decided to upgrade from my CCB to a Christopher DB303 / DB304 or a Thomann Kontrabass 44. Both are on view on the Thomann site. I'm new to DB having switched from BG. (Oh! what I've missed all these years. I'm 62!!!). I play Bluegrass, Country, and folk ballads so I'm looking for that BIG FAT SOUND. I have a Acoustic Image Contra amp. Any advice is wellcome. Happy New Year to All.

Double Bass Christhopher or Thomann??

I know nothing about Thomann basses however. I have played quite a few Chrissies and I think they are good basses. The one I would like to play again was a replica Gofriller(sp) at the ISB show here in OKC and that bass was awesome!!!
I have a Christopher 304T and I am very happy with the sound. I also use an Acoustic Image Contra amp.
