CIJ '51 Precision "refurbish"...

Nice! When I bought my beautiful ash 2014 CIJ P-bass reissue the seller let me play his Japanese '51 reissue (my birth year!) with straight pup and all maple neck. I didn't buy it but it sure was tempting. I'm going bright with my Behringer bass project.
So when I bought a replacement Kmise J neck from China ($37!) I got the maple fretboard. Bought a set of D'Addario XL nickel rounds for it.
My real P-bass has TI Jazz flats and the Rogue BB has Labella flats so the Behringer is to be the opposite-super bright like that 1951 I played.
Cause I don't really play bass lines on my basses. Just solo, lead, melody shredding like lead guitar.
I have no band and don't gig, so it's just me and the Roland Cube's drum track in the bedroom. I have to do it all so I'm going mighty bright.
Congrats on the beautiful ax.

While not vintage correct, put on a set of mushroom-head strap pins to keep your strap from slipping off.
