There never has been any protocol. People have just brought what they felt like bringing and then there's general cacauphony as different things are tried out.
There is one big room, one slightly smaller but still pretty big room & a couple of smaller offices available so it's not hard to find whatever space you need to.
I find myself practicing my bass stuff now with an eye toward not wanting to make a fool of myself at this gtg. For my 20th year highschool reunion, I wasn't the least bit concerned. For this, for a bunch of strangers, I am. 
And at my highschool reunion, I was the ONLY ONE who was still able to wear the Senior Shirt. I am all of 15 lbs heavier than when I graduated in '89.

Trust me, nobody is going to be even able to hear you play bass at the GTG. Generally it's so loud you can barely hear yourself talk.
so just found out my mom scheduled me to have my wisdom teeth taken out on the 21st of next month. Really looking forward to finally meeting everyone here while my face is 1.5 times its normal size and im hopped up on a delicious cocktail of painkillers.
In other news, the car finally bit it and I got a 02 grand prix GT to replace it with
next on list of things for me to blow my life savings on: new 5 string!

Dang, I have a wedding in Berea, that weekend... I'll try to squeeze this in, but it's not looking likely.
I will be arriving late, closer to 3:00 or 3:30. My gun club is getting together that morning to make pumpkins, gourds, shaving cream cans and cans of Dr. Thunder pay for ever having existed. Fun stuff.

Mike, my fretless needs some serious electronics work. I replaced the battery and now everything cut out completely. Ill try a 3rd battery, but I doubt that's the problem.
