I just have a Roland Bass Cube practice amp. This popped up on CL. I know nothing about Amps and Cabs. Is this a good deal?

Yeah, I think I'd go pick that up right now. Pretty good deal with covers and in great condition.

This is likely way more than I need at my level of experience. But, I will improve, and it's a good price. I checked what they cost on the interwebs.

Holy cats! I have a rig! It has some serious HP, at least for me. When I walked in the guy's house, he said, "You know you're stealing this, right?" I just said Thank you. Nice guy, he told me he is a session guy in LA and moving his family back from Vegas. He didn't divulge any details, and I didn't ask. We talked bass stuff for a few minutes, he wished me luck with my learning, and out the door I went.
I played it a bit when I got home. It was set on Vintage. I like that a lot.
It's rare when a deal comes together so quickly.

I have the Fender Rumble 500 Combo instead of the head..essentially the same thing anyway...plus I have that exact same 115 cab...a great powerful rig. Glad you decided to get it. You wont be disappointed.

If you dont, price really doesn't matter.
I dont like the Rumble tone. Some do.
