Clarinetists I need your help.

Alright, so I finally get to play on wood.
I've played both the Buffet R13 and the Yamaha Allegro, and while I liked the Allegro a little more, has anyone heard anything about lifespan or tone over time that would be good to know, as I expect to play whatever I choose for the next 10 years or so.

I'm not a clarinetist, but during my time in band at school, the Buffet R13 was the absolute standard, state wide.

get the one you like... The Buffets are swell, but if you like the other, who cares what other people like better?
