Classic Vibe Jazz pickup cover?

Tried looking for any info on this, but found nothing...

Will a Jazz pickup cover fit on the Classic Vibe jazz? This image is making me think that it wont be long enough to fit across and screw into the body.

Has anyone been able to get one on a CV?

The CVJ pups are standard Jazz size as far as i can tell.
The neck pup is slightly shorter thna the neck pup (as per the MIA and countless others)


For what its worth i changed both pups in my CVJ for some wizards a while ago, and when i changed them back last night i mixed up the covers and found no difference, other than the Squier covers are a bit sharper on the edges.

Ah, silly me. Sorry about that, i should have taken my time to read the post first.

I guess you could always just attach one side to the pick guard or use a very long screw to go in to the wood. Im sure ive seen a pic of someone's CVJ that had a cover on it.

No problem, I was actually wanting to switch those pickup covers as well and I wasn't sure if the covers I were looking at would fit. But now I know they will! Thanks!
