Claypools mid range tone

Hey guys me and my band decided to do a couple of primus covers and im trying to get a decent clapool like tone. my gear is an ampeg 250 watt im thinkin i can use my sansamp di bass driver as a preamp any suggestions on eqing ( Im still not to sufficient with the sansamp).

So any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

P.S (by claypool tone i mean the main 4 string alla frizzle fry thanks again)

all joking aside i would say just keep the bass around mid range and mess with the mid and treble to your happy, what kinda bass you using

Im using a schecter m4 custom with dual emg pickups, i have a few other basses too, such as an old 80's P bass rip off that i defretted and my homely 5 string squire jazz haha how about you
