Washington did score early. Just once. The problem was scoring ever again against Alabama. That seems to be a common problem for Alabama's opponents. I would like to see Alabama roll over Clemson, just to make me feel a little better about how thoroughly Alabama spanked Washington.

I guess I should have said Clemson has the confidence, the game plan, and the athletes to score early and relatively often against 'Bama. But no one knows for sure, and as Chris Berman likes to say, "THAT'S...why they play the games!"

You nailed it! It was a masterful coaching job by Saban and his staff. They also made excellent use of their tight end.

Its funny u mentioned bamas tight end. Clemsons answer for a good tight end was leggit, (more developed, more plays for him) bamas answer to deshaun was jalen hurts. Im thinking these teams knew all along there was gonna be a rematch. Im looking for leggit and watson to be a key to victory. But im also looking for hurts to go off and play the read option early and use that other beast running back (cant remember name #9 i think?) Who showed out against washington. Theyre gonna try to slow clemsons defense the first half, same time try to score as much as possible and hope they can get a far enough spread to where bama cant come back. And we all know what bama is capable of in the 2nd half. Its just a matter of how fast and how much clemson can score against an offense who is stupid tough and like always, can pound the crap out of the ball...........its gonna be a good one for sure.
