Click track, In Ears, Lights, and more!

So here's what I want to do. I would like to have our band play to a click track, maybe sequenced tracks (although we're doing fine without them right now), and the lights midi controlled. What we have right now: In ears hooked up to a LS-9 all wireless, a dozen led lights and effects all hooked up to our interface and laptop. What do we need to do to make it as simple as just hitting a button during the show to start the tune and everything takes care of it self, preprogrammed lights, tempos, and tracks (if we need them)? Also, is there a way to only have the click in our ears on the songs we need them. For example, the guitarist only needs them on 3 tunes that he starts, or does he have to have them the entire show? ableton live software can do all this.
for the click assignment, you could either route output on multiple channels, (as tracks) per song to the desired mixes only,
or set up scenes with routing of the click for each tune on the console itself, which are selected via midi.

So you are saying, to route the click to specific players for certain tunes, ableton can communicate to the console when and where to send the click via midi?

the idea is that if you have a click track routed into an input channel on the ls9,
upon selecting the desired song in ableton, you could send a midi command to select a scene setting in the ls9 that would have the click volume up on specific/ needed sends(ear mixes) for that scene(song).
if the ls9 won't take midi command for a scene change, you could do the equivalent by adding multiple click sends to the console (one for each mix that needs click) and have the track on only the tunes needed.
or, manually switch scenes for each tune.
if you are making this level of complexity and investment part of the show, nothing is gonna beat a human being when something takes a dump. imho, of course.

This sounds like an Ableton midi function

Overall, it may be easiest to have a beat pack for your guitarist for the 3 tunes. (unless the entire thing is sequenced)

A bit of this is how your material is setup and mixed.

Just curious - why does everyone need to hear the clicktrack? If your drummer has it in his ears then he could be the band's click track? Or are you more referring to a bactrack?

Well sometimes, the drummer doesn't play for the first minute of a tune, I don't want him back there hitting his hi hats on two and four when it's supposed to be a nice guitar/singer duet for 32 bars.
