Clicking doorknob...

So I'm sitting in my bedroom listening to music and I hear this really loud clicking noise coming from across the room. I turn off the radio and it is still there. Being scared, I grab my squier strat (closest form of self defensive device and a crap instrument) and walk towards the door. I get the strat ready to swing, grab the doorknob *clicking got faster* took a deep breath and swung the door open to see, nothing. There was a Teddy bear sitting down the hallway but otherwise nothing and I don't think that Teddy is trying to kill me.

Is a clicking doorknob (btw it was a steady tempo until I grabbed it) normal, or should I be throwing all of the stuffed animals in the house into a wood chipper then pour holy water onto the remains?

1. Don't drink pepsi late at night.
2. If said stuffed Teddy was after you..what makes you think a Squier would be usefull? you've seen those movies..you're a dead man.

No earthquakes, I live in the middle of nowhere so no trains or trucks late at night.

The only thing I had to drink was tea, and chicken broth from my soup at dinner.... and the reason I grabbed the guitar was in case it was someone outside my door making the clicking noises (I don't have a knife or guns or anything:/ ) and after seeing that zombie movie, I've always wanted to knock someone out with a stringed instrument

I don't know any drummers that can hold a steady tempo for that long, so it couldnt be a reincarnated drummer haunting me....

Windows were open on both sides of the door, so pressure change is the likely answer haha.

I'm still gonna get rid of that Teddy bear that is sitting in the hallway though....

Now my only dilemma is the llama making screeching noises at night and the blonde creature that roams the house at certain hours of the day looking for food >:| (they call it my sister but I call BS)
