Ok, so here is the deal. ampeg svt810e. Rated 800wrms. ampeg svt4pro monobridged 1200wrms. Obviously not a match. But supposedly they are supposed to be able to run together mono bridged. I ran it monobridged one time, and when the gain got to noon it pop's insainly loud. I hit this forum looking for answers, people said it was the speakers bottoming out. The owner of a music store told me he just got off the phone with the head tech support guy "scott" at ampeg. He says that an ampeg 810e is more than capable of taking that head bridged with room to spare, supposedly quoted as saying "three times rms". And that the popping is comming from the head, as a clip. Regardless of the fact that it has a limiter on it. I just want to know can you guys run your 4pro's monobridged past noon on the master without problems? I want to test the theory myself and try it on a cab that is rated at least 1200wrms, but thats hard to find here. I'm calling b/s on this whole story and just need to be proved it is the head.
