CloudFlare intruding on TalkBass

It's a few seconds to click through. You are not losing to a stock trade because of the seconds lost , are you?

If you use a VPN. that's expected or any other IP cloaking mechanisms you employ
Few seconds ???! Cloudflare verification has been taking literally SEVERAL MINUTES to complete every time I try to access.Talkbass.com. This is crap software and you are abusing your members with it.

I got Cloudflared multiple times today, all from my phone, from home. Got the robot checkbox and it wouldn’t clear. Pretty sure this was part of their outage that was in the news today?

It seems I’ve also been getting login prompted a lot as well, multiple times a day. All from the same device, my phone. When I come back to a page (on my phone) it won’t refresh, if I refresh the page it’s blank. Then I have to reload the page and then often get prompted to login again.

Why are you directing this at me me.? I am not a moderator or owner of this site @paul . EMG and other sites employ it as well and when VPN'ed that's the only time I see it briefly.

Problem appears to have been fixed, turns out it was a Claoudflare dependency that was Google's fault.

A Cloudflare spokesperson clarified that “a limited number of services at Cloudflare use Google Cloud and were impacted.” Limited... but affecting some of the biggest websites.

This explains why I got stuck in a Cloudflare authentication loop yesterday, both on my PC and phone browsers. :( Glad they got it resolved.

That was certainly an inconvenient outage yesterday. If anyone is still getting daily “are you human?” checks, let me know and I’ll see which net is catching you and if it can be rectified.
I have been blocked from accessing talkbass since friday… I am using the 5g internet connection in my phone to send this post. Cloudflare Ray ID: 991ab925296815a9

Amazon Web Services had a meltdown today, still ongoing. Ring, Snapchat, Venmo, Whatsapp all affected. My Day One journaling app won't sync across devices. I can't get into my Amazon purchase history.

I was supposed to get an Amazon Fresh delivery between 10am-12pm and apparently their systems are down and the items aren’t even in the truck yet, now at 3:10pm

I’ve actually been blocked multiple times. Finally emailed the (case?) number to admin here on TB. So far it’s been ok since. I’m on a sailboat/traveling so I am constantly using different WiFi addys- probably has something to do with it.

The AWS outage was affecting my ability to record yesterday since Presonus/Fender uses them to authenticate their software. When I opened Studio One, it couldn't find my license and asked me to re-activate the software. Huh? It started working yesterday afternoon, but I suspect it's down again today.
