i think it was an optical illusion.. as far as i know alleva does not make smaller bodies at this time or in the past.. there may some slight irregularities due to hand cutting of woods but not enough to be a smaller body.
sometimes i find the opaque body may seem different in size from a metallic color but it just reflection and an optical illusion..
maybe jimmy will be back here to clarify if i have made a mistake.. but im pretty sur they are all full size at this time

I have 2 Coppolo's. It's just the angle of the pics or one
is a little closer than the other in the pics.
They are all a standard size "Fender" Jazz basses.

Or how about an ash neck with a maple body? And maybe the maple body has a rosewood top on it?

The Christmas Eve bass looks like a winner. I was supposed to have a Christmas Eve bass of my own, but UPS managed to foul things up royally. If they don't manage to lose it AGAIN, I should have it Monday.

I wish that i had the organizational skills to start an "AA" Alleva-holics Anonymous thread and maintain it.. but i don't .. it is one of my few short comings.

My Inca Silver LG5 was one of last years New Years Eve basses that Jimmy worked on till late ... I wonder who will get this years NYE bass?
Not like UPS is killing me, though.
