Club Sadowsky!!!

Blair, It makes me very happy that your new bass fulfills all your expectations (could it be any other way being a Sadowsky?). If you're in love now, wait until you play it for a few months. :bassist:

congrats amigo.

Thank you Fran. Considering how long it took me to crack the box, it might just take a few months to START playing it. :D
I'm just blown away with HOLDING it! But then you know all about holding a PJ4 w/ P neck don't you.

edit: I should mention here that I'm delighted to have chosen the 12"r. on that P neck. Not for everyone I guess considering the wide nut, but suits my left hand play very well. The vintage Fender P's had quite a convex bd.& I found them fatiguing. I guess you 5er guys must get on pretty well w/ the 12"r on a wide bd.

I am ordering a VINTAGE 5, Most likely tomorrow as i will head to the shop but i am not sure as to what color, i may opt for NATURAL with black pick guard and also see if ROGER will put vintage knobs, i was loving KENS color but not sure what they call it, with that white PG it looks nice, looks like translucent orange to me but not sure and have not heard from him. This time since my NYC Standard 5 has HC PU'S i will be going SC i am looking for that VINTAGE tone that i soooo much love.

Maybe "joinercape" will post his beauty for ya.

Here's a pic I took of Jeffrey and his P-J last Oct.

I had a month with that P-J last summer... WOW!

HI

Thats gonna be a cool build chasams. Why not just get the D-tuner? Standard equipment and you will use it!! They are pretty cool. Congrats!!

Rob

Rob,

I don't use it much on my Metro Will Lee. I just sort of wanted the cleaner headstock on this one. I know that sounds weird, but Sadowsky Club here is filled with picky nuts like myself!!!! :p

I ordered a 2nd tort PG w/ my build & may try it at some later date. It's an extra that's a good investment because down the road you may be glad you have a change. It'd be like a new bass (almost) ;). They need the original to match the exact hole placement so it's a no brainer to have it done up front if you think you may use it. You can always wait for awhile to decide.

The order is placed!!!!!!

NYC Will Lee
Alder body
Mad. RW board
Vintage tint on neck
Matching Headstock
No D-tuner
Antique Shoreline Gold
Parchment Pickguard

Kevin had an alder body in stock at 3#, so it should come in nice and light!!!!!

Very nice!!

The wait wasn't really tough for me until I hit around the 4-5 month mark and then began thinking that it wasn't all that far off. The last few weeks were the hardest. Yours should be a winner!

Congratulations!!
