You know, I think Roger purposely decided on that one for me..."a new buyer" to lure me back in at a later date.

Man, I'm sure glad that I have an Oly white Sadowsky or I would be gassing for one after seeing this photo. The look like they came from a creamy piece of white chocolate.

This bass should be called "The Bluesy Cat model".
Today is a very special day for me because this story took place two years ago:
"I had been playing Sadowskys for 5 years and I never asked Roger to build me a bass like this because I had never seen this combo on the In Stock page; I thought that since they usually use solid ash for natural finishes the resulting full size P would be too heavy for Roger's standards. My PJ only weighs 8.3 lbs!
This is the story about how I won it on ebay: I placed a bid on it like ten days before the auction ended. Early in the morning of the last day of the auction my baby girl 'knocked at the door' and I had to run to the hospital with my wife. This meant that I couldn't track the end of the auction; I lost all hope of getting the bass and I had already assimilated that some Sadowsky sniper was already celebrating the 'shot'.
My beautiful Nora was born later that day making me completely forget about the bass, but when I came home for a shower I checked my email and found out I had won my Bass, "The One". The 10th of July was my lucky day for sure."
On the other side, "The One" has also become "The Only One"
, since I sold my VJ4 and I'll be shipping it out to the new owner tomorrow. I am a little sad, but I also know that I am a "one bass man" at heart, in fact, I am a "one you-name-it man" about almost everything in life and my VJ4 had not been played much since I got my PJ. I'd love to get a PJ fretless in the future and I won't say that if something pops up on the In Stock page that has my name on it I won't go for it.
