Club Sadowsky!!!

Strange, because this came with a mint guard. I can't stand mint, nor could I cover up the nice flame.
Mint is good for the digestive system and looks the business on 59 burst basses with maple boards - IMO.

Personally I would go with no pickguard (rather than clear) - but maybe thats just be as I haven't see a clear pickguard that has done if for me yet. But, we are quibling over aesthetics when its the earth shaking Dowsky tone that really matters! :D

Just got my new NYC jj5. It kills.

Hey Rob,

Nice Fingerboard...Who picked that out for you??;)

Hey you M5-24'ers out there, what kind of strings do you like with them? Right now I think I have sadowsky nickles on it. I would think the stainless steel ones would be extremely bright given the nature of the bass. Anyone have experience suggesting otherwise?

Sadowsky blueline nickels do it for me.

I'm back from my Chicago and Milwaukee gigs. The MV5 was just killer, killer, killer!!! I am totally, completely pleased with this bass. I REALLY like the single coils in these basses... A LOT:bassist:

And man, a couple additional nice one's posted since I hit the road on Saturday morning. Nice stuff everyone:)
