Yes, sorry! You got this from Bassdirect? was GASsing this really hard...![]()
Meanwhile the Schallers are considerably improved, specially the strap part, no issues here anymore.
That’s great, but does not address the main issue I had with them.Meanwhile the Schallers are considerably improved, specially the strap part, no issues here anymore.
Let’s let this horse live. And stop beating it. I much rather see everyone’s Sadowsky Basses than hearing opinions on strap locks. Use what you like. That’s all that matters.
Every bass and guitar I use the Schallers with (which is all of them) I always put a drop or two of wood glue in the hole before screwing the peg in. Never in 30+ years have I had a screw come loose.

OK.....let’s see those Basses!![]()
Everytime I strap a Sadowsky on, it’s that much easier to lock into the groove.
Also: Dunlop
This why this group is great. Fantastic best practices like this
And comments from Elmon like this:
I could tell he was biting at the bit to get a strap-on quote in.![]()
Trust me; we all went there.I could tell he was biting at the bit to get a strap-on quote in.![]()
Nice! (an understatement)The three are home!
Haven't spent a lot time with the ANNA bass yet - def an amazing tone machine!
Thanks again to Roger and Ellis for making this happen.

I like the tone of the blades and they are really high output making a challenge to swap basses live without some amp wrangling. Since I am not gigging ATM this doesn't present a challenge....Nice! (an understatement)
How do you like the Zen Blades with the Sadowsky Preamp? I’ve been pretty curious about that combo.
Where was the horse woopin? I must have missed it. We were just discussing the new version +/-. Perhaps, I missed something?Every bass and guitar I use the Schallers with (which is all of them) I always put a drop or two of wood glue in the hole before screwing the peg in.
