Club Sadowsky!!!

Just picked this up on TB and hope to have it next week. Had a Natty MS5 a while back and now an RV5E. Can't wait to get my hands on this 2015 MV5 Metro.

Was definitely tempted by that one. Beautiful bass!
Thanks! I've been really wanting a Natural MV5 Metroline and keeping my eyes open. Missed this one last time and missed Chef's (RIP man, dang!) when he sold it - although seems to have gone to a good home.

Been playing and loving my Oly White RV5E MIJ every gig since I got it. Forgot how awesome the feel and tone was on these Sadowskys.

Had to cancel the Christmas concert in early December, but we're doing a pared down version 2x tomorrow with a pared down choir and orchestra, and I'll be using the RV5E. Hope to put the MV5 through the paces next week.

Hey all. Thanks be been waiting to try one of these basses out, but no one around me has them in stock.

I’m seeing on Reverb and other sites some higher serial number basses made in 2021. I’m hoping these basses don’t have a lot of the issues associated with the first run. Buzzy frets, noisy electronics, etc.

Has anyone has the chance to play one of the newer 2021 models with the height serial numbers? Any opinions on build and playability?

Thanks!

It looks like Chicago Music Exchange just a new PJ5 in. If you are in the area, that might be worth a trip for you.

Hi, mates, did you noticed that new 2022 Metroline Limited model? Comes with MM/J config, and snakewood top.

Call me crazy, but, that may be more of a Warwick than a Sadowsky.
I once owned a Warwick Thumb NT, with a Snakewood fb. It’s like Ebony on steroids, regarding piano-like attack and sustain!

Given Warwick’s vast/unique wood supply…wouldn’t surprise me if someday they build a Sadowsky German CS Single Cut(?), with chambered Bubinga Pommele body, matching headstock veneer, Wenge neck, and Snakewood fb!:)
