Can anybody point me in the direction of more information about the Super J and Super P pickups? Doesn’t seem to be much out there about these pickups. Nordstrand made correct? I see nothing on the Sadowsky web site. Can they be ordered separately from an instrument?
Not much out there on them. Only available on NYC builds, can't be ordered separately afaik. There was a moment that they were available from Germany but that's no longer. Definitely a question for Roger or @deepestend for more details about them.

Pretty sure just available on NYC builds right now. Also not sold separately from us or Nordstrand.
Out of my curiosity, if you don't mind to answer: Can you confirm if the RSD 5-string JJ models are fitted with two pickups of same size? I'm not so sure about it, but I guess it will be 94mm or 3.73". Thanks!

I've missed 3 Sadowsky's these last couple of weeks. At least 2 of them have still not sold.
In that time I bit on 3 other basses and I've got one incoming in new few days.
Nope, dont understand it either so no Sadowsky for me. And for the next one, I'll want to move a bass out

Deleting the above post... here's a better and more current explanation of the super p super j pickup set.
And, Howard does great work with this pickups, but the trick here is the figuring out how to do the switching.

Luck you. I bought a PJ 6 weeks ago from Fret Nation. I absolutely love it. None of my other basses have seen the light of day since.
Got an update on my build today! I think the color turned out great! And the roast is quite nice too… just about 3 more weeks now.

Nice! What color is that? I don't recall ever seeing a Sadowsky in that shade.
It’s a custom color Roger and I came up with. I wanted trans aqua, but that wasn’t going to turn out very well on okume. So we landed on this shade, and it did not disappoint!
Yessir! Ebony and a roasted maple neck was a must for me. Roger talked me into okume and I’m positive it will not disappoint.
