I actually had a Verdine MetroExpress as my #1 for years, but it too required some attention prior to being gig ready. It’s now gone, along with every entry level Sadowsky I’ve owned. I’m loving the quality of the Japan made basses. Maybe someday, I too will have an NYC Verdine. Yours is my fav config.
