Someone else is offering the same pickguards, but this time, thru the eBay:That's awesome cos I've been looking at the tortoise shell from AE and was unsure about hitting the enter button on this. Great piece of news!!!
Are they sold out yet? Figured they wouldn't make it through the weekend. That's all we have the parts for!
Plunked down my deposit shortly after it was announced. I currently own 2 Metros and love them (and have owned 3 or 4 prior). But I've always wanted to do a custom build when I could afford it. The Tully model checks a LOT of the boxes for me! (although I've never really been a fan of black basses.) Hoping my situation doesn't change dramatically during the 10-month build time!Is anyone ordering this Tully limited edition?
A general question for @Sadowsky and @deepestend - Are there any plans to update the serial number page, which only goes through 2017?
When I was 18 I rewired the knobs on my bass for volume/pan. There was a little bit of trial and error but what I unknowingly ended up with is the Sadowsky standard. It was not until I got my hands on a bass that was wired differently from the factory that I found out that the bass community had embraced a reverse wiring for pickup pan knobs.
A lot of the NYC Customs have screw terminals on the pan pot, making this even easier if that’s what you want you want to do.I have owned several Sadowsky's and re-solder the pan pot the (IMHO) correct way...(no disrespect to ROGER, I love the guy!).
But I have played bass for 50 years and I know what I like and expect from my basses. I know this is an old thread, but for some reason, it popped up in my feed.
Thanks deepestend!
The one NYC I owned, I bought from Tully, it was an earlier model....so I had to use my soldering skills to change the pan control.
All the rest of my Sadowsky's were MIJ Metros... but required soldering skills.
Sweet!
Perfect, but the seller doesn't ship to the UK. The search continues.Someone else is offering the same pickguards, but this time, thru the eBay:
