46. You are asked!

Hey guys, i was wondering, do the sandbergs which have Block inlay necks, do these necks have binding on the side of the neck? like on fender block inlay necks?

Mine doesn't!

If you look at the photo of the Bass that Premek posted a while ago (maple neck with black block inlays it doesn't have binding on the neck either.

I'm pretty sure the great guys at Sandberg would fit edge binding for you if you requested it. :)

Ah thanks Baker! i just have never had a bass with blocks and binding, (being Lefty) so i cant wait, i will speak to them!

Cheers!

I did just put you on, welcome! Number 46 is yours.

How are you enjoying that Umbo? It looks great. I haven't tried a Umbo yet.

Enjoy.

I picked up my first Sandberg last Thurday. I was doing some shopping for my work place in a music store and while i was waiting i tried one - and loved it. I had never played Sandberg before. I bought it. I just couldn't help myself.

It plays incredible nicely, but tomorrow i'll have a band rehearsing after which i know how it performs.

4-String California JM Natrure Highgloss #8967

I have some troubles posting a picture - i'll do that later!

Hi guys.
Im interested in getting a Sandberg so i guess this is the best place to ask.
I played a Blackburst California PM5 a few years a go and loved it, but got a Lakland instead.
Im now thinking of that PM5 again so have a couple of questions.
Firstly, how close to a P can it get with just the neck pup? Im not looking for authentic vintage P, just a nice thump and some good low mids.

And secondly, how long does the battery last and is it easy to change.

Thanks for any guidance.
