Do you guys ask for updates? I dont want to be a pest haha but it has been quiet lately which hopefully means he is working hard on our builds :)
Well, not really unless it is a week or 2 before the ETA.

I have worked with many Luthiers in a buisiness level and one way or the other answering updates take away thei time they can focus on building. Also with experience some start asking questions about the unfinished product, or have concerns or the look causing even more time to answer. Of course builders like Fodera, or F Bass that have a team working its easier to provide updates, but when it's an one man show doing everything like Geoff, Mattisson, it becomes quite challenging.

Geoff before was more communicative but also he was way less busy. This is just how luthier making business evolves, and if you are anxious for some type of update it will never hurt to ask.

The Walnut Bustard is ready this week, th Buckeye Rhea in 2 weeks!
