Club Trickfish!

And? I was hoping you had a line! :)

Whoops...the pic didn't load!
I am NOT selling, but man!!! I have both the cube 1x12 and the 112M... the 1x12M as a standalone is really a great do-all cabinet!
I used it last night with my Bullhead .5.
Just a ridiculous amount of punch and tone!

That's nice! I love my 110 and 208V and think that having the 112 for a little extra bottom would be great with either of those (or both!).

I also have the 1x10 "Perch" model cabinet. Together, they are really, really, really loud!
Yes, my 110 and 208V together are very loud but very articulate which is why I'm deeply in love with them. There's magic there for sure. I briefly played with a 212 (other brand) that I thought would give me the oomph and clarity I like, but it didn't come close to what this little combo give me. Plus they are light and when stacked, take up little floor space but still giving me the ability to hear myself in a loud setting.

That carry bag is sweet, and it looks pretty durable as well! What are you impressions of it? I’m seriously considering grabbing one.

Great protection, but lame zipper on the accessory pocket. I usually don't use it anyway, but the main zipper is solid.

Tuki makes a shoulder bag for it, but it isn't as protective, but it seems more user-friendly. YMMV

Brought the Trickfish rig this past weekend (Bullhead .5k and two older SM210's). Man, this rig never fails to deliver. My guitarist commented that it's one of his favorites among the various rigs I bring to shows - but then added, "Then again, you have a lot of good stuff." LOL!

Hello Club Trickfish!,

Is the Bullhead 1K too much amp for someone who plays primarily at "bedroom" volume (65-85 db)?

or stated in another way...

Does the Bullhead 1K perform well at lower volume levels for "bedroom" practice (65-85 db)?

I would be using either a 110, 208, or 112 bass cab. Thinking more toward 208.

I have studied the YouTube video comparing the 1K, .5 and Mini and the 1K shined above all of them.

FYI: I am currently using a bass head at 8ohms/400 watts through a 1 x 10/300 watt cab and all is good at bedroom levels. Interested in the Bullhead for the Pascal/its quickness/clarity/eq options and effects loop. My current amp does not have an effects loop. Also, I would rather have too much headroom that not enough.

I think it's more a function of the speaker being driven hard enough, so something like a 1x10 or 1x8 is a good size for the bedroom. At low volumes you typically get less highs/high mids out of a speaker with high RMS watts but you can EQ them in (or lower the bass).

Hey guys, just want to make sure anyone who doesn’t follow Trickfish on social media saw this. Nice deals on in stock items through the remainder of 2023. Applies to all amps, cabs, IPA and Flexcore preamps!! Happy holidays everyone from the TF family!

I am not on social media. I did not see this.

Thanks for thinking of us Luddites!
