Club Trickfish!

We’ve talked about it but no current plans to do 8” L series cabs. As much as people love them, the demand is a lot lower than 10” and 12” based cabs, so it’s hard to justify minimum order requirements. Perhaps down the line, once the flurry of new products settles down a bit. We have some very cool stuff cooking that is keeping us busy :-)

Fair enough. But a vertically oriented, sub-25 pound 210 would also be peachy!

She has found a good new home with a very talented young bass player. Enjoy!

P.S. And he tested it with an double bass and it was FREAKING HUGE!! Made my electrics sound anemic in comparison.

Great to hear the cab found a good and lucky owner, that was fast! but then, that was a great price too :) I really love that cab now that I have one - particularly full and articulate sound when using with my BH Mini and my passive Lakland 44-60 with Fralin Jazz pick ups.

I just posted my 112M. Makes a great stack with the 208V!

I am looking for a cab, and I am either looking between the Trickfish TF410, TF212V and the new L410. What cab do you all recommend? I am looking for a cab that can handle lot of lows but at the same time it can be punchy and clean sound.

So many variables and options...what kind of music do you play? What sort of venues/locations? What amp are you using? Bass? Is weight a factor? Maybe with a little more info the good folks here can help you Otto. But I will say that the Trickfish cabs are all wonderful, musical and punch above their size/weight. You can't go wrong with any of them (or the thousands of other options out there). Personally, I went a different direction with the lightest, loudest cabs I could find. The new TF line intrigued me but I ultimately went outside of TF. Good luck!

Thanks for the questions to guide me on the right cab. I play at a Church, but the cab will be used on out of the Church gigs that can range from 100 to 400 people location. The location is usually a regular room. We play mostly contemporary music. As to the weight, it doesn’t matter, I can use a wheel cart to haul it.

Another question: do you have PA/front of house support or are you filling the room with your own amp/cab? If it's just for your own monitoring then smaller and more articulate is probably better but again, they are all good. Are you mic'ing your cab or going DI?

A Mini 112 works great as a stand alone cab, especially if the room is boomy and you have a hpf. A 1x10 (if you can find one) is a great upright and monitor cab. If you need more, a 2x8 is great for churches!

Totally agree. I had all three of those and certainly the 112 or 208 would be perfect. I would say the 110 is a bit on the small side but the 210 might be the baby bear of the bunch. The 212 is probably fantastic but I haven't heard/seen one in the wild.

I play a passive Fender Jazz through a TF Bullhead .5K amp and a TF 210 cabinet. This set up is extremely powerful with more boom than you can imagine coming from a Jazz and the can easily fill up a room with 100 plus people. The sound can also be very punchy in the mix if/when you want it. The 210 cabinet is built like a tank, is heavy, and the neodymium speakers are amazing and versatile. The TF Bullhead .5K has much to do with this sound.

Yes, the .5 is a real gem in the product lineup they sadly don't make any more.

I can't wait for it's replacement to come out! In the development phase right now. I'm in line for the first run.

The sound is completely raw no monitors or front support, so my cab will be providing the bass sounds
