What did Ben say how long?
I called him yesterday and he said about another week
I got shafted.

Could be worse... I've been waiting on my rack-mount pre since the original Kickstarter pledge.
Oh man, you did. But your doing a great job of staying positive throughout the ordeal. And trust me when I say it's so worth the wait. This is the first time in about a year that I don't even look at the classifieds here anymore. (Well, sometimes the bass section.) But as far as my rig goes. The Meatsmoke Pre, DemonKing and a tuner into the effects loop of the MarkBass LM2 has been the best tone Ive had in years. Oh and I use a NS-2 sometimes.
Im sure Ill throw the GStache or a RAt on there now and again, but I really dont need to.
Im recording 8 songs in a few weeks. It will be my first time using the MS-Pre dedicated recording output. I'll be bringing along the DemonKing,Stache, Rat and Helio but Im hoping to get through most of it with just the dirt from the Verellen. I will be sure to report back.
Ouch!!!
Whenever I hear how bad the economy is and how bad businesses are doing I point to crap like this some small or medium size metal shop that is too lazy or stupid to jump on every business opportunity thrown their way if they didn't want the job or couldn't do it they should have turned it down because you have been waiting for way too long I love Ben but he needs to find another shop or find someone willing to venture out on their own and get this thing going.

In happier news, I just booked a trip to Seattle for the end of March, and visiting the Verellen shop is definitely on my list.
But life is too short to get bent out of shape over an honest mistake made by a good dude just trying to do good deeds. Hopefully these are growing pains for him and he'll learn to streamline his business better off of these lessons learned.
