Coated strings for 35scale 6 string

I'm an avid user of Elixir strings. I use them on my electric and acoustic guitars. Now that I went back to bass, of course they're the ones I want too.

I bought a 6 string set (the 5string set + extra C) but I forgot that my Ibanez BTB1906 is a 35inch scale. The low B and E strings' usable length don't make it past the nut.

Are there any other great coated strings for 6 string bass with 35-inch scale?

Some older gen BTB's did come with Elixir strings on. Mine, a 2015 BTB685SC, did. Yes, this one is a 5 string model, but it's basically the same 35" scale as your 6 string BTB.

The key is getting the Extra Long Scale Elixir strings. The product numbers are:
  • 14087 for the 4 string extra long scale set,
  • 15433 for the .130tw low-B string extra long scale taperwound single, and
  • 15332 for the .032 high-C (this one doesn't have to be an extra long scale).

where are they available? i've seen that in elixir's website but can't find a seller

I don't know where are you located (best if you fill in your location in your profile page to ease other for this kind of purpose). I got mine from local Indonesian dealers. But, by a simple googling just now, I could get info that Strings By Mail has them.

I've bought quite many times from SBM despite I'm directly on the other side of the globe of where SBM is located.
