Double Bass Colorful and/or Custom Double Bass Cases

I am just curious about the community's experience with various colored and/or custom cases.

I own a Silver Bobelock i've had for 5 years, and still great as ever. Recently purchased another bass, so wanted another case to stand out.

A few I know of:
Messina Custom
Bobelock
BAM
Tonarelli
Tuff-Bag
Glenn-Cronkhite Custom Cases

Thanks!

Messina will make just about any color combination you want, along with other custom features like pockets and strap/handle placement. The custom fit makes the bass easier to maneuver as well. Unconditional recommendation from me-I have two double bass cases, and one for my Vertical Bass.

I do love their color combinations. I was wondering about strap and handle placement as well, so that answers that question. I was a little concerned about padding for the bridge. My bobelock has a center circle area where there is extra padding, so I was wondering if I should even be concerned about that in the first place.

Sorry the pic is so huge. I had them make my cover with no bow pouch, as I use a bow sleeve that goes inside the case. There's a pocket that holds the folding stand I sometimes use, and a pocket for other stuff that's big enough for my AI Clarus SL amp. The one for my other bass is similar.

I owned a Messina for my 7/8ths, now sold. Yellow top and gray sides and back. I asked to have the main zipper moved to the other side, and they did so with no issues. I think I also had one of the pockets changed. Customization, at least to some extent, is provided.
