Sure, in time, but there might be a bit more to it than consumer push. I don't at all know the technical ins, outs and hurdles, but it just doesn't seem likely that the availability of high-end systems (where a virtual need developed) means that next year we'll see everyone and their mother coming out with bi-directional wireless...Phenyx Pro Gemyni... But who knows? There could be some kind of breakthrough or chip advancement that's already happened that makes it possible. The desire for devices and cables is always there.
On the one hand, I don't get it...like imagine if cell phones were two pieces, separate receiver and transmitter units, that had to be kept a some physical distance to work. I'm sure someone would have gotten right on that. I guess finding out exactly what the technical hurdles are might give a clue as to the likely timeline.
