Combo amp plus external speaker

Hello bass friends. I have a 100 watt Kustom solid state amp with a 15” speaker at 4 ohms. The amp has an external speaker input: This is a two-conductor, 1⁄4-inch external speaker jack. This jack is wired in series with the amp’s internal speaker. Looking to buy a Orange OBC 115 at 8 ohms for a bigger sound. This is new to me so I’m reaching out to make sure I don’t blow it! Thanks y’all!!

You will want a 4 ohm cabinet so the power will be distributed equally. Adding an 8 ohm speaker likely wouldn't gain you anything, since your jacks are in series you're already cutting your output power.

If you can find the manual for your amp you should simply do what the manual says. Do you have a specific model name or number for your amp?

I have an early 2000s version of this amp ^
Eventually, I will get a matching 8 ohm all tube amp. I see that the output power won’t be ideal, just don’t want to pass on this cab at this low Craigslist price. Thanks for your help!
