Combo Amp Power Question

I recently bought a fender Bassman 250/115 (hey, don't blame me, i got a good deal), and with its 15 inch speaker, it is great for alot of the gigs I play. The amp itself is rated at 250 Watts, and I was wondering if you guys think the amp could handle another 15 inch extension cab. Let me know what you guys think.

I'll second what amos said and add that you must keep in mind that you will still be getting ~250w out of the amp, just moving more air with the 2nd cab. So, it should get noticeably louder to your ears but will not have any more clean power or headroom to offer you.

Of course, it depends on why you want to add the 2nd cab ...

most importantly .....

enjoy!
