Combos fo$400.00?

Fender Rumble 100 2x10 or 1x15
Ampeg BA115
Hartke A100 1x15
Genz Benz M Line 2x10 (used)

If you're willing to be patient and save a couple of hundred more then you could piece together a seperate head and cab rig.

If you already have the LMII why not just look for a portable cab? For $400(or less) you can get a high quality cab to use with your head instead of a cheap combo. You'll find you can get a lot better use out of going that route.

Check out the TC Electronics RS112. Weighs 31 lbs and can be had for $375 shipped.

I picked up a Carvin NB 115Neo for $281 from their eBay store. Basically the RB15 with the upgraded Neodymium speaker. 120 Watts, 15" speaker, adjustable tweeter, Direct PA Line output, Parametric and graphic EQ, Effects loop, and built in Compressor.... A lot of bang for the buck.

I'm thinking of getting a 2 x 10 cabinet for times when I want a little more punch since I have a line out for another speaker. Should still be quite portable.

You might consider the Markbass Traveller 1x15 (or another Neo magnet 15 that's light) and just use your LM II head. Then you can add it to your rig for bigger gigs or mix and match for a tone. The GK Neo 115-III is only 40 lbs and $449 brand new no sale price from GC.

If u must have a combo, I think you are on the mark with the MB115 for your intended use. It is wicked light, too. Think it's around 39 lbs.
