'Price Is Right' Announcer Dies

The phrase he shouted out on TV for 17 years — "Come on Down!" — became household words around the country, even if Rod Roddy's name did not.

The veteran television announcer died Monday at Century City Hospital of colon and breast cancer at age 66

While rare, it is possible for males to have small amounts of breast tissue in their breast area. Feel your chest. That is called a breast. Imagine if that area got cancer... would that not be breast cancer?




Its a sad day in TV history The Price Is Right will never be the same again.

According to the wording of the article Roddy taped his last show earlier last month, so apparently they already have a new announcer or they're just using re-runs or pre-made shows.
