Common Expressions That Aren't True

Since space-time is curved, there's no such thing as a straight line. At the miniscule scale we experience, there are line segments that appear to be straight, but a line is infinitely long and cannot be straight in space-time.

You are right. I am misinformed. I looked it up and all you said is true.

Therefore I now stand by the expression " There are no straight lines in Nature" as being 100% correct.

I may get drunk tonight. We'll see.

That's true in general relativity. But in quantum mechanics, all lines are straight. How's that for a puzzle.
