I really liked Roto 66 stainless on my Schecter, but they just didn't sound right on my SX P. Still looking for the perfect string for that one. Tried D'Addario XL (nickel), Roto 77 (monel flats), and Elixir (coated steel). The D'Addario XLs sounded okay, but they were extra heavy (.055, .075, .090, and .110) and the G string was uncomfortably tight. :D I might give them another shot in a ligher gauge.

I'm thinking I'll end up with nickel when all is said and done, cuase stainless just seems a bit too bright with the maple neck.
