Compression Under $100

What's the real deal w low end loss on the BBE? I use a good amount of low end when I play,
I've found that the majority of stomp comps won't allow enough low end to filter through.
I havn't had much luck w 9 volt comps in that price range,

any BBE users using it successfullly w the lows turned up?

Haven't noticed *any* problems in that department myself, but I use only passive 4-string basses. If you're using active and/or 5-strings, I can't comment to those particular situations. But my experience has been that there is no perceptible alteration of tone with the OptoStomp on or off, in or out of the chain.

No opinion on the BBE. But I play a 5-string with the bottom string tuned to A, and I don't perceive any low loss with my Philosopher's Tone.

Thanx, appreciate the comments
I don't wanna hijack,
So I won't comment on this again,

But yeah, I play active only, and set the EQ way bassier than most players,
I've tried a few of the cheaper, comps;
( Guyatone ST-2, Malekko Comp,) to name a couple..
It's good to hear positive reviews on the BBE , I'd like to try one out
