Compression Under $100

Hey I was looking into putting together a simple pedal board and was wondering if ya'll had some suggestions for a compressor/limiter under $100. I was thinking of going with the LMB-3 but I'm not entirely sure.

If all you're looking for is peak limiting without any fattening or tonal coloration, then yes the Boss LMB-3 is quite good. I used it for several years

DOD Milk Box is awesome and highly rated. I paid 25 for mine and it uses the old "THAT" chip that is known to be good.

Any opinions about the TC electronic's NDY-1 Nova Dynamics Compressor Guitar Effects Pedal? I am using an active Ibanez ATK305.

They are on clearance sale right now so I thought instead of getting the EBS Multi-comp, is this better?

BBE opto stomp is a good one but I would recommend trying out the most pedals you can and keep the one that works best for you.

BBE OptoStomp! I've had mine for 4-5 years. Sometimes I take it out of my rig for a while in an effort to simplify things, but I always come back to it. The only other pedal I run with it now is a tuner.

+1 the compression sounds natural, it doesn't (noticably to me) color the tone of the bass, it's cheap, and it sounded better than all but one of the pedal compressors I tried it against save one that was about even for twice the money.
