Big gig rained out!! 😞

Happened to me last week. My band did a six show tour of Scandinavia with our last show at a festival which was the whole reason behind booking the tour in the first place. The only show at the festival that was rained out was ours. We played to a few hardy souls who tried to remain dry by coming up to the stage. Just after we stopped playing the rain stopped and the crowd returned.

So it goes.

Happened to us as well on a Festival gig, but we managed to save our set by playing with whatever was setup in the makeshift stage just without a PA system.

Anyone ever had their gig *snowed* out?

Or …since I just watched Stage 3 of the Vuelta a Espana bike race …ever had a gig hailed out?
